A four-day journey
into living wisdom

Inspired by the teachings of Baal Shem Tov, this immersive retreat invites you into the wisdom of the Tree of Life. Through sacred ritual, movement, breath, sound, and contemplative practice, you will awaken your voice, embody mystical teachings, and cultivate deep connection with yourself, one another, and the Divine.

Set in the lush surroundings of Casa Coya in Medellín, each day unfolds with intention — from the opening Shabbat ceremony to the Circle of Mystics closing blessing, you will be held in beauty and community.

Devora Benchimol
Devora Benchimol
International Master Coach  ·  Educator  ·  Rabbanit
Founder of Jewgal Academy

For over 40 years I have accompanied people in Argentina, Israel, Guatemala, Colombia, and the United States through their deepest processes — the ones lived in the body, the ones that ache in the soul, and the ones that transform life forever.

From that emerged a way of working that integrates what we most keep separate: mind and body, technique and intuition, academic knowledge and ancestral wisdom.

I created Joogalkids, a Mindfulness in Motion program based on the Alef Bet that helps children connect with their inner world through movement, play, and the wisdom of the Hebrew letters — and Jewgal, its counterpart for adults, which brings that same conscious movement practice to those who guide, educate, and lead. I also created the Sholem Method, a leadership and values program for teenagers, and Kabbalah Coach, which applies the wisdom of Kabbalah as a practical tool for self-knowledge and inner transformation.

The most important thing I have created is my family.

I'm here to walk beside you as you find your own answers.

Cynthia Zak
Musician  ·  Author  ·  Yoga & Meditation Teacher
Birth, Postpartum & Death Doula

Cynthia Zak is a musician, composer, singer-songwriter, yoga and meditation teacher, author of five books, curator of sacred instruments, and an explorer of mysticism. Her life's work unfolds at the thresholds — birth and death, sound and silence, the visible and the unseen.

As the founder of The School of Sound and co-founder of the Yomu Mindfulness System, she has spent more than three decades creating transformative experiences that weave together music, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and the wisdom of the heart.

A birth, postpartum, and death doula, Cynthia accompanies individuals and families through life's most profound transitions. Drawing from breath, voice, movement, ritual, and sound, she creates spaces where people can meet change with presence, courage, and connection.

Whether gathering instruments from different traditions, composing songs, guiding meditation, welcoming a new life, or holding space at the end of one, Cynthia's work is rooted in a simple belief: that every threshold carries the possibility of deeper meaning, belonging, and love.

Mother of three and grandmother of a beautiful baby boy, she continues to create pathways for healing, remembrance, and human connection through the universal language of sound.

Allegra trained professionally in dance and journalism in New York City before moving back home to Miami. In Miami she teaches popular yoga classes where she channels a moving meditation that is a funky mix of Katonah yoga, deep yin postures, gooey dance movement, tender nudges for the mind to let go of its noise and reclaim its radiance, and goooood music. She is also a freelance writer and artist, birth worker, and dancer. Cynthia is her mother and Deborah is her rebbetzin :)
